Macquarie University Faculty of Business Delegation Visits Business School for Academic Exchange

On the morning of May 27, a delegation from the Faculty of Business, Macquarie University, Australia, led by Associate Dean Yvonne Breyer, paid an academic visit to our Business School.The meeting was attended by Zhijun Yan, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges of our university; Min Chen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Macquarie College; Liping Wang, Secretary of the Business School; Zhisong Chen , Vice Dean of the Business School; and Yuanchao Bian , Assistant to the Dean of the Business School.The meeting was presided over by ZhijunYan.

On behalf of the Business School, Secretary Liping Wang extended a warm welcome to the delegation. She outlined the School’s development history, talent cultivation, academic research, and internationalization strategies. She expressed her hope that this visit would serve as a new milestone to further enhance resource connectivity and platform collaboration, and advance comprehensive and in-depth cooperation in international education between the two institutions.
Vice Dean Zhisong Chen delivered a detailed presentation on the Business School’s progress in international development, covering international talent training, faculty development, academic conferences, and the construction of international journals.
Both sides held in-depth discussions on cooperation pathways, key areas and implementation plans for future joint initiatives. This exchange has established a solid communication platform and laid a firm foundation for sustained collaboration between our Business School and the Faculty of Business, Macquarie University.
Moving forward, the School will align closely with the 15th Five-Year Plan, advance the implementation of international exchange programs, enrich the connotation of global education, and continuously improve the quality of talent development and the international profile of the School.
