Nanjing Normal University Achieved Outstanding Results in the 2026 Belt and Road National International Student Business Elite Challenge.
On May 31, the national finals of the Branding Competition for the 5th “Belt and Road” International Student Business Elite Challenge—specifically the track for international students studying in China—came to a successful conclusion in Sanmenxia, Henan Province. More than 500 international students from 54 countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Russia, and Serbia, advanced to the finals.
Among them, the “Marco Polo” team—comprising Khoo HuiXian (Malaysia), Fung KokYen (Malaysia), Law KangYu(Malaysia), Jaysen(Indonesia), and Lee Jun Yuan (Malaysia)—won the second prize for their “Kuanda Food Solution,” which was guided by Professor Zhen Liu and Teacher Maolong Zhang and developed in collaboration with Kuanda Food Co., Ltd. of Malaysia.
The team “The Catalyst” composed of Le Khanh Ngoc (Vietnam), Saher Noor Ul (Pakistan), El Ghouth, Fatimetou(Mauritania), and Tullu Konjit Tadese (Ethiopia) and guided by Teacher li Shu, in collaboration with Shanxi Niu Shi Bowen Vinegar Industry Co., Ltd., won the Second Prize for their project titled “A Drop of Eastern Brew, A Thousand Homes' Aroma.”
The “Mirage Brand Planning Studio” team—comprising Boutaskaout Ferdaous(Morocco), Wamra Leila (Morocco), Abytova Akbiike(Kyrgyzstan), and Burca Julieta(Moldova)—won the second prize for their “Bot Brand Planning Proposal,” which was completed under the guidance of Associate Professor Fugang Gao in collaboration with Jiangsu Lanjiang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
