At 3 pm on June 15th, at the invitation of the Business School, Professor Wu Zhenyu of the University of Manitoba, Canada, visited the Schumpeter Innovation Forum at the 27th Business School of Nanjing Normal University, bringing a theme to our teachers and students:"Family Involvement in Finance". The report was hosted by Prof. Bai Junhong, Deputy Dean of the School of Business. Many teachers and all graduate students attended the event.
Prof. Zhenyu Wu, currently serves as Chairman of the Institute of Canadian Academy of Social Sciences in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation at the University of Manitoba, Canada. He holds a doctorate degree in finance from the University of Calgary, Canada. He has a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in economics from Nankai University. His current research areas include entrepreneurship finance, entrepreneurial research, family business research and corporate governance. Dr. Wu currently serves as an associate editor or member of the editorial board of several top international journals. Organized and hosted several international academic exchange meetings. In the past 10 years, Dr. Wu has published more than 40 academic papers, of which 10 were published in academic journals on the Financial Times-FT50 top academic journals list.
