Bio: 

Dr. Chongzheng Xu, male, ethnic Han, is native to Lujiangxian, Anhui Province.He is a doctor of Economics who is also a member of CPPCC Standing Committee of Jiangsu Province, a counselor of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province having the title of Distinguished Professor, a Doctoral Supervisor as well as a National “863” Chief Expert and State Council Expert for Special Allowance. Now Dr. Chongzheng Xu is the Assistant Principal of Nanjing Normal University, a member of the Ministry of Education Economics Teaching Steering Committee, a Vice-President of Association of Industry and Commerce of Jiangsu Province, a Vice-President of Chamber of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, the President of Academy of World Economic Development, the President of Academy of China’s Development Economics, a Vice-President of China’s Ecological Economic Education Professional Committee, a Vice-President of Non-party Intellectuals Fraternity of Jiangsu Province, an Executive Director of Overseas Economic Association of Jiangsu Province, an Executive Director of China’s “Das Kapital” Research Association, an Executive Director of Academy of National Marxist Economic History, the President of Academy of the International Finance and Economy of Jiangsu Province, a Vice-President of Research Association of Private Economy of Jiangsu Province, an Executive Director of Academy of Finance of Jiangsu Province and a Director of Nanjing Normal University China Economy Research Centre.

Professor Xu has long been engaged in teaching and researching in economics and finance. He has published 25 monographs about economics and finance, over 200 papers in Social Science in China etc. national key authoritative academic journals, national-level, provincial-level journals and above have been published. And his papers have been reprinted and quoted by Xinhua Digest, Social Science in China Digest, College Journals of Liberal Arts Digest, Periodical Literatures Reprinted by China People's University etc. Since 1991, he has successively taken charge of more than 30 projects, including National Ministry of Science and Technology Major Project of “863” (chief scientist of National “863” Project), National Social Science Fund Project, National Ministry of Education Major Research Project, National Ministry of Water Resources Industry Scientific Research for Public Welfare Major Special Project, Social Science Fund Project of Jiangsu Province, Social Science Planning Office Project of Jiangsu Province, Science and Technology Committee Project of Jiangsu Province etc. Currently, another 6 projects are in progress. He has won Major Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements Award for 10 times, including the second prize for Provincial Government Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements Award(book) 2 times and the third prize for 2 times, the second prize for Provincial Government Humanistic and Social Science Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements Award(paper), the special-prize and the first prize for 2 times for Jilin University Outstanding Scientific Research and a Achievements Award for Provincial Department of Education Outstanding Scientific Research.
