Pan Zhen, born in Zhenjiang, member of China Democratic National Construction Association, has the title of Ph.D., professor and doctoral supervisor. He has been working with Nanjing Normal University Business School since 2001, and served as the Associate Dean of School of Business from 2006 to 2015. Since November 2015, he has been serving as the Dean of Business School.

Professor Pan now mainly engaged in teaching and researching in the area of strategic management, international business management and foreign direct investment. He is one of members of Academy of Management (AoM), Academy of International Business (AIB) and  International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR), and he is also the director of the Financial Engineering and Management Institute of Nanjing Normal University. He is the author or co-author of more than 50 papers and 4 books. His articles have appeared in Management World, Journal of World Economy and China's Industrial Economics, and elsewhere. In addition, with the support by National Natural Science Foundation and Humanities and Social Science Project of the Ministry of Education, Pan have been undertaking about 10 scientific research projects, he was selected to be the participants of “333 Project” and “Blue Project” in Jiangsu Province. He has also achieved lots of awards such as the Excellent  Achievements in Philosophy and Social Science of Jiangsu Province and Excellent Postgraduate Courses.
