Lecture:Chemistry Education in the Age of Intelligence

   On June 28, Professor Zhao Hua, a senior professor and distinguished teacher from the Digital Education Research Institute of Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Educational Sciences, was invited to deliver a special lecture for our faculty and students, delving into the integration pathways between artificial intelligence and chemistry education.

 In his report, Professor Zhao pointed out that education in the intelligent era is shifting from "knowledge capacity" to "thinking capacity," and the core value of AI lies in liberating human cognition and fostering creative thinking. Drawing on specific examples, he demonstrated AI's practical applications in lesson preparation, student performance analysis, courseware generation, and experimental design. At the same time, he emphasized the need for a rational approach to technology, noting that AI remains an auxiliary tool and cautioning against risks such as data security and knowledge accuracy.

 Professor Zhao particularly emphasized that future teachers should assume three roles: spiritual navigators, designers of teaching ecosystems, and cultivators of higher-order thinking, upholding the fundamental purpose of education amid technological empowerment. The report offered broad perspectives and clear insights, providing a well-defined direction for faculty and students to understand intelligent teaching reform, and received enthusiastic responses from the audience.
