Min Liu

Prof. Min Liu is  selected  in the Recruitment Program of Global Experts (known as “Thousand Talents Program”), and he is also the Distinguished Professor and doctoral supervisor of Central South University, the member of Hunan Provincial Key Laboratory of Ultrastructure and Ultrafast Process and the member of National Key Laboratory of Powder Metallurgy. Min Liu received the Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree in Hunan Normal University, and Doctor of Engineering degree in the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Science. During the period from 2010 to 2015, Liu was the specially-invited research fellow of the University of Tokyo. From 2015 to 2017, Liu went to the University of Toronto for postdoctoral study. In August, 2017, he started to work in Central South University. In recent years, he achieved many innovative research findings in the field of catalytic materials and devices. He published more than 60 papers in international authoritative journals including Nature, Science, Nature Photonics, Nature Chemistry, Nature Communications, Science Advances. These papers are cited over 2000 times so far. His research findings were reported by famous news media like Science Daily, Science News, and Forbes. Liu is also the reviewer of more than 20 international major academic journals and he applies for more than 10 patents in China, Japan and Canada, 13 of them are already granted.
