Invited by School of Chemistry and Materials Science, Nanjing Normal University, Prof. Fei Wang from Fujian Institute of Structure of Matter, Chinese Academy of Sciences (FISM) came to CAS for academic exchange on May 17,2025,and gave a lecture entitled “Synthesis of Photo-activated Titanium-based Metallic Organic Frameworks in Single Crystals”in Room 412, Chemistry Building.Teachers and students from related majors of CAS attended the lecture.

Fei Wang,Researcher and PhD Supervisor,Fujian Institute of Materials and Structures, Chinese Academy of Sciences,China.He is mainly engaged in the design,synthesis and properties of metal-organic framework materials,and has published 140 papers in SCI journals such as Chem. Soc. Rev.,Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc.,ACS Materials Lett. with >4000 citations, 4 ESI highly cited papers,and H-factor 34.Among them,85 papers were published as first/corresponding authors.He has presided over three national foundations.In 2019,he was awarded the Second Prize of Natural Science of Fujian Province (ranked second).

In this report,Prof. Fei Wang mainly introduced several aspects of molecular sieve-like, visible light-active Ti-MOF single crystal.

Prof. Fei Wang's report was logical, rigorous and informative,and after the report,he answered the questions about the report patiently and carefully, which benefited the teachers and students present.After the report, teachers and students thanked Prof. Fei Wang with warm applause and expected Prof. Fei Wang to visit Nanjing Normal University again.
