The 26th International Conference on Database Systems for Advanced Applications (DASFAA) will be held in Taipei, China on April 11, 2021. The paper“Proving Collective Converging Groups of Large Scale Moving Objects in Road Networks”, submitted by Associate Professor Bin Zhao in our Data Mining Research Group, was successfully included in the DASFAA 2021 International Conference.

 

The first author of this paper is Jinping Jia, the supervisor is Associate Professor Bin Zhao. This paper focuses on the group movement pattern mining method of moving objects in the road network environment, and puts forward the aggregation pattern and its mining algorithm for modeling group aggregation behavior. The authors not only use large-scale real taxi GPS data to conduct experiments to verify the high efficiency of the aggregation model mining algorithm, but also use online prototype system to verify the effectiveness of the aggregation model. This paper is the first research work of group movement pattern mining based on road network environment, which has been recognized by experts in the database field.

 

DASFAA is a CCF B international conference. Since its establishment in 1996, DASFAA has been an important international conference in the field of database. It brings together the latest research results in database, data mining, cloud computing, and other fields every year, and it is also one of the international conferences that famous domestic database groups pay great attention to.
