Professor Willy Susilo was invited to give a talk in our school on Dec. 7, 2019. The title of this talk is “Securing Cloud Storage: Challenge and Research Direction”. In this talk, Professor Willy Susilo mainly introduced the security issues in cloud storage and focused on the adoption of IBBE and ABE data sharing and revocable identity-based broadcast encryption technology. He shared the latest progress of related work, raised the latest hot research questions. This talk broadened the vision of teachers and students and made the present teachers and students gain a lot.
Professor Willy Susilo is an associate professor at the School of Computer and Information Technology at the University of Wollongong (UOW) in Australia. His main research interests include cryptography, cyber security and computer security. He is a Professor at the School of Computing and Information Technology at the University of Wollongong. He has been awarded the prestigious ARC Future Fellow by the Australian Research Council. He is also the director of Centre for Computer and Information Security Research (CCISR).
