Title: Data-driven map construction for highway bulk freight logistics

Abstract: Ordinary urban road maps fail to cover the road restriction information of trucks, lack of marking the popular parking areas suitable for bulk freight, and cannot meet the long-distance road transportation needs of bulk freight drivers. To solve the problems of frequent truck transportation accidents and low logistics efficiency, and enhance the travel experience of drivers, it is urgent to consider the types of goods transported, truck models, and driver's route preference factors to study customized logistics maps suitable for road bulk freight Construction method. With the widespread application of intelligent terminals represented by the Beidou satellite navigation system and the Internet of Vehicles, large-scale streaming growth of spatio-temporal data has been derived. This report will give a data-driven logistics map construction plan, including the construction of multi-constraint logistics map based on the user's prior knowledge, and the incremental update of the logistics map driven by dynamic spatio-temporal data.


Short Bio: Jiali Mao is a professor of East China Normal University. She has presided over (participated) a number of scientific research projects such as the NSFC and projects in cooperation with companies such as Didi Chuxing and Jingchuang Zhihui. Her research results have been published in top conferences (ICDE, SDM, SIGSPATIAL) and top journals (TKDE, TIST) in the field of the database, data mining, and geographic information systems. Her 3 national invention patents have been authorized. She has served as a reviewer for top international journals such as TKDE, TKDD, KAIS, and program committee members for top international conferences such as AAAI, ICDE, CIKM, and SIGSPATIAL. In 2018, she won the Sa Shixuan Excellent Paper Award of the China Database Academic Conference. In 2019, she won the "Journal of Software" high-impact paper award; In 2020, she won the first prize of the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award. Her research interests include spatio-temporal/situational data management, logistics technology (LogTech), etc.
