Professor Wanchun Dou, Nanjing University, gave a talk entitled "Industrial Internet Intelligent Application Innovation" at the School of Computer and Electronic Information on Dec. 2, 2021. The academic presentation was hosted by Professor Genlin Ji, Dean of the School of Computer and Electronic Information.

 

Dou is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Nanjing University. He is the project leader (chief scientist) of the national key research and development plan. He has presided over more than 10 provincial and ministerial projects, including 4 National Natural Science Foundations and 2 Jiangsu Provincial Key Research and Development Projects. In the past 5 years, he has published more than 100 papers in international journals. In 2006, he was selected as the "New Century Excellent Talent Funding Program" of the Ministry of Education. In 2013, he was selected as the "Six Talent Peaks" Program (A category) of Jiangsu Province.

This report first introduced the intuitive cognition of the Industrial Internet and the technical challenges behind the intelligent business process management of the Industrial Internet, and then puts forward some basic issues of intelligent application innovation, enumerates an example of intelligent application innovation of the Industrial Internet, and finally gives further Intelligent application thinking and expounds several technical ideas for application challenges in the industrial Internet scene.
