Professor Yuzhong Qu, professor of Nanjing University, gave a talk entitled "Research Progress of Semantic Web Technology" at the invitation of the School of Computer and Electronic Information on June 18, 2021. The academic presentation was hosted by Professor Genlin Ji, Dean of the School of Computer and Electronic Information, and Some teachers and graduate students of the school attended the presentation.

 

This presentation introduces the development process and application fields of semantic web technology, the construction and application cases of knowledge mapping, and shares the recent scientific research achievements of the research group. The content of the presentation is rich and novel. The teachers and students listen very carefully, which broadens their academic vision. The teachers and students are deeply inspired and benefit a lot. After the academic presentation, the teachers and students present had a technical exchange with Professor Qu, and the presentation was successfully concluded with warm applause.

 

Short Bio:

Yuzhong Qu is the professor of computer science and technology at Nanjing University. At present, he is a member of system software professional committee and software engineering professional committee of Chinese computer society. He has been engaged in the research of semantic web, knowledge mapping and intelligent software for a long time. Presided over and undertook more than ten scientific research projects such as national 863 program. In 2007, the project of "Research on Semantic Web Language and supporting software technology" won the second prize of Jiangsu Science and technology progress award.
