On August 26, 2021, the 14th Chinese College Students Computer Design Contest (referred to as "4C Contest") Finals (Hangzhou division) successfully concluded. The three teams guided by teacher Richen Liu from our school won two first prizes and one national second prize. This is the first time that teachers and students of our school have won the national first prize in this contest, and it is also the first time that Nanjing Normal University has won two first prizes under the guidance of the same teacher.

 

The 4C contest is co-hosted by the Ministry of Education’s Higher School Computer Professional Teaching Steering Committee, the Ministry of Education’s Higher School Software Engineering Professional Teaching Steering Committee, the Ministry of Education’s Higher Schools University Computer Curriculum Teaching Steering Committee, the Ministry of Education’s Higher Schools Liberal Arts Computer Basic Teaching Guidance Subcommittee, and China Educational Television. The 4C contest is one of the recognized "Type One" competitions in our school. In the final round of this contest, the proportion of the first prize is not higher than 5% of the works in finals, the proportion of the second prize is not higher than 25%, and the proportion of the third prize is not higher than 50%. Thus this contest is very competitive.
