Language Information Processing and Social Computing (LIPSC) Laboratory

The Language Information Processing and Social Computing (LIPSC) Laboratory, founded in April 2016, is affiliated with theSchool of Computer Science and Technology. This team consistsof 2 professors and 1 associate professor. Our research interests cover a wide range of topics in Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing and Social Computing, including word sense disambiguation and prediction, syntactic and semantic parsing, information extraction, Question-Answer system and Chinese language information processing. Particularly, this team focuses on semantic parsing (i.e. Abstract Meaning Presentation (AMR) parsing) for English and Chinese, as well as their applications.
