On November 28, 2025, the School of Educational Science at Nanjing Normal University hosted a special lecture titled "Grandparents, Parents, and Children: Deconstructing Complex Relationships and Parenting Patterns in Contemporary Families with Preschool Children," delivered by Associate Professor Ren Lixin from the Future Education School of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. The event, chaired by Associate Professor Liu Ying, saw participation from Associate Professors Guo Liangjing and Zheng Chuchu, Lecturer Zang Beilei, along with students.Associate Professor Ren Lixin, who currently serves as the Director of the Family Education Research Center and Doctoral Supervisor at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, has long been dedicated to the fields of family parenting and early childhood development. Her research focuses on core issues such as parenting beliefs and co-parenting in Chinese families, with multiple publications in top-tier journals. She also serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for several domestic and international core journals, combining solid theoretical expertise with rich research experience.
