Brief Introduction of the reporter:

Roger C. Shouse earned a bachelor’s degree on politics and a master's degree on pedagogy from the University of Michigan and a Phd from the University of Chicago. He is an associate professor of pedagogy at Pennsylvania State University, a visiting professor at the Education Institute at Taiwan National Pingdong Normal University Basic Education Research Institute and a visiting professor of Sichuan University Public Administration Department. He is also an editorial board member of Journal of School Leadership, the senior associate editor of American Journal of Education, head of the comparative education research of Pennsylvania International Program Office Curriculum Development Group and the director of the Taiwan school research at Pennsylvania State University International Program Office Tourism Research Foundation.

The main research fields of Dr.Roger C. Shouse include organization theory, education policy, education system and international comparative analysis of institutions, history and culture of education in east Asia as well as leadership management theory and practice. His research program "The Impact of School Reconstruction&School Economic Differences" was supported by the Education Institute Research Foundation in the United States. In Asia Pacific Education Review, Educational Administration Quarterly, Sociology of Education and other high-level journals, he published tens of papers. His authorization includes Principal Leadership in Taiwan schools and Redesigning American Education. Dr.Roger C. Shouse also edited seven other books.He was awarded the Susan Colver-Rosenberg Award at the University of Chicago and a National Education Science Society Spencer postdoctoral fellowship in the U.S.
