From December 4 to 7, 2025, at the invitation of the Hong Kong Institute of Educational Research and the Faculty of Education at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Professor Gao Shuihong, Associate Professor Zou Huiming, Associate Professor Chen Nan, and Associate Professor Zhong Cheng from the School of Education Science attended the First “CUHK China Education Forum” and the 60th Anniversary Symposium of CUHK Faculty of Education. Under the theme “Educational Innovation and Transformation in the AI Era,” the forum aimed to bring together experts, scholars, industry professionals, and outstanding alumni from around the world to explore cutting-edge educational concepts and practical pathways, contributing wisdom and momentum to the innovation of education in China.

The conference featured 10 keynote speeches, 23 thematic forums, 23 parallel sessions, and 2 poster sessions. Based on the Major Project of National Social Science Found of China “Research on the National Strategy, Promotion Strategies, and Social Support for Educational Equity in the New Era”, our faculty members Gao Shuihong, Zou Huiming, Chen Nan, and Zhong Cheng were invited to organize the thematic forum “Chinese Theory and Experience in Educational Equity” and deliver presentations.
