At 6:30 pm in June 14, 2016, at the invitation of the School of Electrical and Automation Engineering, Senior Officer Diping Yang from Mitsubishi Electric Automation co., LTD report titled “growth of industrial robot and talent-development”. The lecture was emceed by vice Dean Xuehong Wu. Relevant professional teachers and students took part in the lecture.

Officer Yang introduced the trend of modern industrial control, the industry 4.0 and demand for internet-plus era. Taking “MIDEA Company” and “Xiaomi Tech” for example, he showed the wide application of the industrial robot in the production process of air-conditioning and mobile phone. In addition, he elaborated on the components of the unit-oriented intelligent solution. Finally, he introduced the past "Mitsubishi Electric Cup" National College of electrical and automation contests, and also invited the students zealously to participate in the next contest.

Vice Dean Wu summed up the report and mobilized the students to participate in the "Mitsubishi Electric Cup". Every student who attended said they benefited a lot from the introduction of the industrial robot through the cases.
