Associate Professor Lv Pin from the college of Automation, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics made an academic report in School of NARI Electric and Automation

At 2 pm on June 19, 2019, at the invitation of School of NARI Electric and Automation of Nanjing Normal University, Associate Professor Lv Pin conducted autonomous navigation under the satellite refusal environment in Room 202 of the Science and Technology Building of New North Campus of Nanjing Normal University. Academic report on Perceptual Technology. The report was hosted by Associate Professor Qian Weixing, Director of the Institute of Information and Control Engineering. About 20 students, graduate students and undergraduates from the college participated in the academic exchange activities.

Lv Pin, Associate Professor at the College of Automation, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, master tutor. In 2015, he graduated from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics with a doctorate in philosophy. From October 2015 to October 2016, he worked at the University of Toronto as a postdoctoral researcher. Since March 2017, he has worked at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. At present, his main research directions are mainly inertial and multi-information fusion navigation, navigation system fault monitoring and management, and new technology of autonomous navigation in satellite rejection environment. In recent years, he has hosted a number of government projects including the project of National Natural Science Foundation, the Aviation Fund, and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, as well as some projects in cooperation with the Institutes. At the same time, as a major member, he participated in the key projects of the “13th Five-Year” Equipment Pre-Research Fund and a number of cooperation projects with important national significant model background. A certain type of system developed has been applied and tested in a large military aircraft in China. A navigation algorithm verification platform developed has been applied in the ground simulation laboratory of large passenger aircraft in China. The developed ship inspection drone has been applied in large oil tankers and scattered. The cargo ship was used and represented China in the international maritime exhibition. Based on the researches mentioned above, Professor Lv has published more than 50 SCI and EI papers and applied for more than 30 patents.

In this report, Associate Professor Lv mainly introduced the research results of the autonomous navigation and sensing technology of the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Navigation Technology Research Center in the satellite rejection environment. The report first introduces the latest developments of related research at home and abroad, and introduces autonomous navigation based on fixed facilities, including ultra-wideband wireless positioning technology, magnetic stripe-based positioning technology, and visual navigation and sensing technology in an unknown environment. As well as multi-source information intelligent fusion technology, it also introduces wearable navigation and perception and motion capture technology. After the report, Prof. Lv had a lively interaction with the teachers and students, and answered the questions raised by the teachers and students. The academic atmosphere was strong and the teachers and students felt that they benefited a lot. Finally, in the warm applause of the teachers and students, this academic report ended successfully.
