On the morning of Sept. 28, 2015, guests from Concordia Centre for Advanced Vehicle Engineering, the Foreign Thousand Talents program scholar Professor Subash Rakheja came to visit our college.

Dean Enrong Wang and Vice Dean Jiquan Yang showed the guests around the campus. They first visited the “electrical engineering training center”, including intelligent substation lab, new energy lab, vibration control lab and automatic control lab etc. Dean Wang introduced the teaching mode of the experiments, and would continuously enhance the cultivation of actual technical ability and working ability. Then, they visited the “key 3D printing equipment manufacturing laboratory of Jiangsu province”. Vice Dean Yang, as the director of the lab, presented the existing products, application cases and ongoing research. Prof. Rakheja pointed that the 3D printing technology has a broad prospect of application as a global popular field. He also spoke highly of the platform and technological state of the lab. They went on to visit the electrical lab building, including the sensors lab, PLC controlling lab, electronics lab and electrical testing lab.

In the end, Prof. Rakheja invited some of the faculty and students to Concordia Centre for Advanced Vehicle Engineering.
