On the morning of May 10, 2016, the Thousand Talents program scholar Professor, director of South China University of technology in smart material control and application center, professor Chun-yi Su come to visit our college.

Dean Enrong Wang showed the guest around the “electrical engineering training center”, including intelligent substation lab, new energy lab, vibration control lab and automatic control lab etc. Prof. Su focused on the research on the semi-active vehicle suspension system with magneto-rheological damper conducted in the vibration control lab. He fully affirmed the science research platform, and informed the latest research progress of magneto-rheological intelligent material and giant magneto-strictive material and control strategy on intelligent material based system. He also listened to reports about the developments and achievements. He hoped that the research group would keep striving for greater achievements.

In the end, Prof. Su invited some of the faculty and students to South China University of technology in smart material control and application center.
