Cong Fengqiao, professor of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences
The uncertainty principle is one of the few extraordinary features distinguishing quantum theory from classical ones. It reflects the limitation in acquiring the information of different physical properties of a system simultaneously. Recent development in the research of uncertainty relation indicates that it has profound impacts on many aspects of quantum information processing and not to say on our understanding of the quantum world. This talk will present some state-of-art developments in this regard.
Prof. Congfeng Qiao is one of the first tenured professors with international evaluation in the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. His current research interests include particle physics and fundamental quantum theory.
