Campus Life | Outstanding performance from NNU students in the 14th National Student Sports Games of the People's Republic of China

Recently, the 14th National Student Sports Games of the People’s Republic of China held once every three years was successfully concluded in Qingdao City, Shandong Province. NNU sent 9 track and field athletes and 1 volleyball athlete and achieved excellent results after more than 10 days of fierce competition. Finally, they claimed 4 gold medals, 6 silver medals and 4 bronze medals, fully demonstrating the spirit of NNU students who are always pursuing excellence and showing great ambition.

The Games, as the highest level of student sports competition in China, welcomed more than 14,000 participants this year, which is known as the largest national student sports competition with the largest number of participants. The Games also included the selection of the "President’s Cup" for colleges and universities, which were ranked according to the total group scores consisting of the presentation of scientific papers, performance of the university’s sports program and the results of the sports competition. NNU has won the “President’s Cup” for two years in a row.
