Biosketch:

Prof. Junsheng Nie is the 'new century talented scholar of The Ministry of Education', and Principal Investigator of NSF for Excellent Young Scholars in China. He has won the 'Fu Chengyi Prize for Young Science & Technology, 'Young Science & Technology Award of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau' and 'Palaeogeography palaeoclimatology palaeoecology' excellent reviewer in 2013. He is the deputy editor of Frontiers in Earth Science, editorial board member of Scientific Reports and Heliyon, and reviewer of more than 20 journals, such as Nature, Nature Geoscience, EPSL, Geology, GCA, GRL, etc. As the first convener, he has host the AGU annual meeting twice and GSA annual meeting. Prof. Nie has published more than 20 articles as the first author in Nature Communications, Science Advances, Earth Science Reviews, Geology, EPSL, GRL, Scientific Reports, GSAB, etc.
