Lecture 2 of the 2021 Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information Industry Lecture Series

        In order to help graduate students in surveying and mapping, geography and other related majors to better understand the construction of the surveying and mapping benchmark system in Jiangsu Province, the School of Geographical Sciences held a lecture on "Interpretation of the Basic Surveying and Mapping Plan for the 14th Five-Year Plan of Jiangsu Province" in classroom 303 of Xuexing Building at 15:00 pm on November 9th. This lecture is the second lecture in the 2021 surveying and mapping geographic information industry lecture series, hosted by Associate Professor Shen Fei.

        This lecture invited Chang Qing, director of the Department of Land Surveying and Mapping of the Department of Natural Resources of Jiangsu Province, to give a lecture. Director Chang Qing has long been engaged in the management, organization and implementation of major provincial-level basic surveying and mapping and geographic information resource construction projects such as basic surveying and mapping, geographic national conditions monitoring projects. During the lecture, based on his own work experience, Director Chang introduced the basic surveying and mapping construction content of the country and Jiangsu Province and the development history of management institutions. He described in detail the upgrading and transformation projects of Jiangsu Province JSCORS, geodetic coordinate frame, gravity control network, etc., pointed out that the application of basic surveying and mapping results has been fully expanded, and finally focused on the interpretation of the content of the "14th Five-Year Plan" basic surveying and mapping plan.
