Field of Research

  • His research interests include isotope geochemistry and Quaternary environment and global change, and he has long been focusing on the development of climate indicators for various stable carbon and oxygen isotope systems (C, O, clusters, and triple oxygen isotopes, etc.) of biological (terrestrial snails, aquatic snails, bivalves, etc.) crustal carbonates, and the comprehensive study based on these indicators to solve the important scientific problems in the field of palaeoclimate, such as reconstructing the evolutionary patterns and driving mechanisms of the monsoon climate of Asia on different time scales, and the evolutionary patterns and driving mechanisms of the monsoon climate of Asia. We will also develop climate indicators based on these indicators to address important scientific issues in the field of paleoclimate, such as reconstructing the evolutionary patterns and driving mechanisms of Asian monsoon climate at different time scales. Currently, he is the chair of one youth project and one upper-level project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has published many papers as the first/corresponding author in Geology, Geochim.
