Bio: 

Personal Information
        Wang Yongjun, male, Ph.D., professor, Ph.D. supervisor, head of the master's degree in Surveying and Mapping Engineering, and leader of the integration innovation team in Jiangsu Province. He is a member of Virtual Geographic Environment Specialized Committee and Lidar Specialized Committee of China National Committee of International Society of Digital Earth, and a member of Engineering Surveying Branch of Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping. His main research interests are laser point cloud data intelligent processing and 3D modeling, multi-dimensional spatial data integration and fusion. He has presided over and is presiding over 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 exploratory project of the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program), and 1 sub-project of the National Key Research and Development Program, etc. He has published more than 40 papers and authorized patents. He has published more than 40 papers, 3 authorized patents and 1 monograph. He won the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award in Surveying and Mapping and the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award in Geographic Information.

Research Teams, Enrollment Directions and Graduation Paths
        Our research team currently consists of one professor, one associate professor and two lecturers, recruiting doctoral students in Cartography and GIS, Map Cartography and Geographic Information Engineering, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, and postgraduate students in the above disciplines and in the direction of Surveying and Mapping Engineering. Graduates mainly go to large high-tech companies such as Huawei, Geely, Chang'an and Meituan, as well as traditional surveying and mapping enterprises and institutions such as Shanghai Municipal Academy of Surveying and Mapping, Zhejiang Institute of Surveying and Mapping Science and Technology, and Nanjing Research Institute of Surveying and Mapping, Ltd. Students with backgrounds in surveying and mapping engineering, cartography and geographic information systems, computer software and applications, and applied mathematics are welcome to apply.
