Recently, leading by its President Parena Lawrence,the delegation of United Board visited Ginling College and had a meeting with college leaders in Suiyuan campus.The Party Secretary of Ginling College Zhou Hong, the Dean of Ginling College Feng Sixian, the Member of College’s Party Committee Yang Suping, the Vice Dean of Ginling College Chen Ming, and relevant faculty members attended this meeting.They exchanged and discussed cooperation matters under the theme of "Enhancing Mutual Understanding and Exploring New Opportunities for Cooperation".
Firstly,the Party Secretary Zhou Hong extended a warm welcome to Parena Lawrence and her team on behalf of the college. She stated that the United Board had long been concerned about and supported Ginling College and was always an important partner to the college.The multiple special scholarship programs carried out and the alumni's donated scholarships and grants managed by the United Board not only provided a ladder for the growth and success of generations of students from our college but also injected strong impetus into the scientific research and innovation of college’s teachers and faculty, making the educational concept of "Abundant Life" increasingly vivid through resource empowerment. Zhou Hong emphasized that this support which transcended time had become an important mark in the college's history and our college was deeply grateful for it.

Subsequently, the Dean Feng Sixian introduced the educational characteristics and development achievements of Ginling College from three aspects:the past.,the present and the future.Ginling college originated from Ginling University,the famous women’s university. Over the years, it had always adhered to the original aspiration of caring for the underserved group and devoting oneself to helping them.Guided by the century-old culture and spirit of the Ginling University,it had established a unique and distinctive education system of “Abundant Life”. Feng Sixian stated that nowadays, our college had a complete and distinctive discipline system, a strong and highly qualified teaching staff, a stable teaching and research platform which had gained abundant achievements and had cultivated a large number of outstanding students with remarkable results.
During the interactive communication session, the President Parena Lawrence, the Vice President Ricky Cheng and the Assistant Director Zhang Jing engaged in in-depth dialogues with the college leaders and teacher representatives. The atmosphere on the spot was warm and harmonious. Parena Lawrence was particularly concerned about the enrollment and training model of the women's education major in the college and the career development paths of its graduates, and highly recognized the college's distinctive practices in the field of female talent cultivation. Ricky Cheng had a detailed exchange on the construction of the alumni donation system and the continuous operation of donation projects as well as the feasible paths to unite alumni strength and support the development of the college with the Party Member Yang Suping. He also had a fully discussion with the Vice President Chen Ming on project connection, registration process and participation matters. Zhang Jing elaborately introduced the latest project layout and future development direction of United Board and had in-depth exchanges with the college leaders on the tier and matching of the projects, which laid a clear framework for subsequent precise cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the United Board and Ginling College exchanged gifts.The gifts carried the mutual appreciation for past cooperation and expectations for future collaboration, further narrowing the distance between the two sides and bringing this exchange to a successful conclusion.
This cooperation and exchange meeting deepened mutual understanding, precisely matched core needs, explored new directions for multi-field cooperation, and laid a solid foundation for building more diverse and in-depth cooperation platforms in the future.
