Produced by Nanjing Normal University and performed by teachers and students of Ginling College, the original modern drama “Wu Yifang” on the 130th Anniversary of the Birth of Dr. Wu Yifang, an outstanding patriotic female educator and social activist in modern Chinese history, was successfully staged at Xinbei Auditorium of Nanjing Normal University on March 31, 2023.

The drama is 1 hour and 30 minutes long, and it took two years to plan and present it. It carefully selects several unique and representative events from Wu Yifang’s life, and the play portrays her unwavering dedication to the mission of education and patriotism under different historical circumstances, creating a great female figure who loves her country, school, and students, and demonstrates wisdom, independence, and progress. It showcases the brilliant image of Wu Yifang as one of the greatest representatives of Nanjing Normal University.
