He fully affirmed the work of the New School of Communication of Nanjing Normal University, and hoped that Nanjing Normal University would anchor the goal of building a first-class journalism school in China, take the 60th anniversary of the establishment of journalism and communication discipline as an opportunity, deepen the work of building a journalism school between the ministry and the university as a starting point, adhere to innovation, keep pace with The Times, and train more high-quality journalism and communication talents. Better serve the economic and social development of the whole country and the whole province. Liang Yong put forward three requirements for the future work of the college: hold high the banner of thought and keep the right direction of personnel training. Take the responsibility of The Times and promote the high-quality development of the discipline. It is necessary to adapt to the new trends and changes in the ecology of public opinion, media pattern and communication mode, and run the concept of deep media integration through the whole process of major setting, course arrangement and textbook compilation. Focus on the key and difficult issues of news and public opinion work, and provide more weighty, valuable and visible consulting results and intellectual support. Gather the striving force and stimulate the vitality of the development of journalism. It is necessary to adhere to the local, serve the media, and actively expand the "green channel" of talent training. Make good use of the co-construction resources of the ministry and the university, promote the interaction between the industry and the academia, the integration of teaching and research, the combination of theory and practice, carry out regular exchanges of employment, and jointly create a "fresh force" of teaching, research and practice.

Xu Zimin, on behalf of the Education Department of Jiangsu Province and the Education Working Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, extended warm congratulations to all the teachers, students and staff of the School of Journalism and Communication of Nanjing Normal University and alumni at home and abroad. He pointed out that looking back at the 60-year history of running a school, the discipline of journalism and communication has achieved fruitful results through the hard work of generation after generation. In the past 60 years, it has trained a large number of outstanding talents in journalism and communication for Jiangsu Province and even the whole country. In the new era, the new journey, the rapid development of the information age, the continuous iteration of technological innovation, the training of news and communication personnel has also brought great challenges. He has three hopes for NNU's School of Journalism and Communication. The second is to take the initiative to respond to the new requirements of high-quality development. Journalism and communication education must face the world, face science and technology, face the future, and take the initiative to deal with the opportunities and challenges brought by media technology. The third is to target demand and serve the national strategy. It is necessary to base on its own characteristics, take the major strategic needs of the country as the guide, align with the actual needs of the development of China's story, rural revitalization, network power, cultural China and other countries, give play to the existing orientation advantages and characteristics, and form brand effect.

On behalf of the Party Committee and administration of the University, Wang Chengbin expressed his sincere welcome to the leaders and guests attending the meeting, and extended warm congratulations to all the teachers and students of the University and the vast number of alumni at home and abroad. He said that after 60 years of continuous struggle and innovation, the new transmission Institute has made a series of landmark achievements in discipline construction, talent training, talent team construction, think tank construction and social services. The school has a strong momentum of interdisciplinary integration and innovation, a strong faculty and professional elites, and great potential for career development and broad prospects. Wang Chengbin asked the college to accurately grasp the needs of The Times, the orientation of the school and the opportunities and challenges in the future work, reflect a new atmosphere at a new historical starting point, show new actions, and create a new situation. First, we must strengthen value leadership, promote reform and innovation, and train more excellent news and communication talents. It is necessary to adhere to the socialist direction of running a school, run the Marxist concept of journalism through the whole training of talents, and strengthen the education of journalism students' professional spirit and news ethics. It is necessary to deepen the reform of the curriculum system, optimize the talent training system, innovate the talent training model, promote the integration of industry and learning, and cultivate more composite news and communication talents with a sense of family and country and responsibility. Second, we must focus on the technological frontier, promote the integration of disciplines, and strengthen the construction of journalism and communication disciplines in the new era. It is necessary to promote the construction of journalism and communication subject with the help of new technology, and construct the theoretical system and application model of journalism and communication that can reflect the latest technological progress. It is necessary to vigorously promote the cross-integration of journalism and communication with Marxist theory, sociology, psychology, economics and other disciplines, develop in clusters, and strive to contribute to the construction of the discipline system, academic system and discourse system of journalism and communication with Chinese characteristics. Third, we should focus on the national strategy, focus on the needs of the industry, and better serve the Party and the national news and communication cause. In the context of the new era, take the initiative to consider how journalism and communication can better contribute ideological wisdom and theoretical achievements to national construction and social development, provide theoretical support and decision-making consultation for the Party and the government to realize the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity, and provide intellectual support for facilitating the transformation of media integration and promoting the high-quality development of media.

Zhou Yong, Dean of the School of Journalism, Renmin University of China, extended sincere blessings to the School of Journalism and Communication on behalf of the other colleges and universities, and expressed sincere congratulations to the School's achievements in the fields of talent training, academic research and social services. He pointed out that the party's news and public opinion work is a major event in the governance of the country, and it has an irreplaceable role in the ecology of public opinion and national governance, especially in solving the problem of international discourse. In the face of the call of duty in the new era, all the brother journalism and communication schools in China should work together to focus on the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people, and strive to cultivate and bring up a large number of top-of-the-line innovative talents who are oriented to future communication, have global competence, morality, beauty and spirit; Adhere to the mission of discipline development with a global perspective, face the mission and task of building world-class universities and world-class disciplines entrusted by the state, and contribute to the world with China's knowledge creation through the construction of independent knowledge system, so that China's journalism and communication can stand in the academic forest of the world.

Shuang Chuanxue, dean of the School of Journalism and Communication of Nanjing Normal University, said that in the past 60 years, the journalism and communication discipline of Nanjing Normal University has been approved from the first doctoral program of journalism in Jiangsu Province and the country, to the approved postdoctoral research center of journalism and communication. From being selected as one of the first featured majors in the country, to being selected as the first first-level key discipline of journalism and communication in Jiangsu Province in the "13th Five-Year Plan", it has developed step by step into a highland in the field of journalism and communication research in China and a faculty that students of this major yearn for, cultivating a large number of outstanding talents for the cause of journalism and publicity in China. He pointed out that journalism and communication, as one of the important disciplines supporting philosophy and social sciences, resonates with the development of The Times in the same frequency, goes in the same direction as the industry trend, and advances synchronously with technological change, and is becoming a "prominent study" in the new era. Starting from three key words, he shared with you his thoughts on how journalists can achieve big breakthroughs and show big achievements in such an era of great changes and changes: First, "rational", that is, to construct independent knowledge with context. It is necessary to jump out of the western thinking frame and cultural context, explore local theories with explanatory power and persuasion, and comprehensively build an independent knowledge system of journalism and communication with Chinese characteristics. The second is "presence", that is, to create a dialogue of the relationship between industry and learning. It is necessary to go deep into the hot scene of the vivid practice of Chinese modernization and the field scene of media integration and innovation exploration, construct independent theories from news practice, use independent theories to feed news practice, and form an effective dialogue and a perfect closed loop of industry studies. The third is "in the mood", that is, to cultivate the news talent with feelings. It is necessary to take cultivating news talents with humanistic feelings, professional ideals and critical thinking as the top priority of discipline education, strengthen the accumulation of students' cultural skills, the establishment of family and country feelings, and cultivate a strong sense of The Times, responsibility and mission.

She reviewed the development history of the college, summarized the characteristics of the college, and reported the work of the college from many aspects such as discipline construction, teacher team construction, talent training and social services. Over the past 60 years, the College has adhered to the Marxist concept of journalism and cultivated a batch of outstanding journalism and communication talents for the Party and the country. Xinchuan alumni do not forget the original intention in all fronts of news communication, and at the same time, they always care about and help the career development of their Alma mater mother school. Looking back fondly on cherished memories from more than 40 years ago, he said: "In this small auditorium, we held the opening ceremony and we also celebrated the graduation ceremony here." The establishment of the 1977 journalism class was the result of the joint operation of the South Division and Xinhua Daily, which was led and supported by the provincial Propaganda Department. They have adopted a "2+2" innovative teaching model: the first two years are taught by the Southern teacher of the comprehensive course, and the last two years are guided by Xinhua Daily journalism practice. This unique cooperative school-running mode was the only attempt in the country at that time, which not only opened up a new road, but also provided valuable experience for the later ministry school construction. Minister Zhou stressed that the four years spent in the South Division had laid a solid knowledge foundation for him and his classmates. "The teachers taught us with all their heart, and we ourselves studied very intently and diligently," he said. During those four years, whenever the night fell, wherever there was still light, we could see our classmates continuing to study hard."

1964 was the founding year, the sowing year and the sailing year of the journalism and communication education of NNU. These achievements and honors are closely related to the education and training of journalism. He used "strict ideological education, active classroom teaching, practice interviews, good learning effect" to summarize the characteristics of journalism teaching in those years. He said that although the students' four years of learning in journalism is short, it has a profound and long-term impact on them. The study of journalism has cultivated their traditional moral character of seeking truth and pragmatism, tempered their fine style of diligence and dedication, and enhanced their ability to develop innovative thinking, which will benefit them for life.

In the history of journalism and communication education in the southern Division, the same milestone is the 1977 alumni. He emphasized that the undergraduate journalism major, which began in 1964, was the cornerstone of the establishment of the Journalism class of 1977, laying a solid foundation for the vigorous development of the School of Journalism and Communication, and paving a broad road for the future development of the school. He quoted his graduation message of "Being taught by the Southern Teacher, serving the society", encouraging the new students to carry forward the fine tradition and journalistic spirit of the college, move forward bravely on the road of news communication, serve the society with practical actions, and realize their personal value.
