Jiangsu Key Laboratory of New Power Batteries

Director: Chenxin Cai
Secretary: Ping Wu

Introduction

The Jiangsu Key Laboratory of New Power Batteries was found in 2010 with the authorization of the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province in July 2010. The Key Lab, located inside the Xianlin Campus of Nanjing Normal University, is co-operated by Nanjing Normal University and Jiangsu Shuangdeng Group Co. Ltd.. Currently, the main research areas of the Key Lab include: (1) advanced Li-ion batteries and their key electrode materials, (2) key materials of fuel cells and their system integration, and (3) fundamental research of electrocatalysis and electrode processes. The President of the Academic Committee of the Key Lab is Professor Hongyuan Chen (Academician of CAS) from Nanjing University, and the Director of the Key Lab is Professor Chenxin Cai. Around 40 fixed researchers work at the Key Lab, and 30 of them have senior professional titles.
