【Academic Report】Bangjie Chen Lecture 67: A signaling pathway for auxin-mediated flower initiation
The sixty seventh lecture of the "Bangjie Chen Lecture" was successfully held on December 15, 2024. Prof. Yunde Zhao from University of California, San Diego gave a seminar entitled “A signaling pathway for auxin-mediated flower initiation”.

In this seminar, Prof. Zhao introduced the new findings from his lab on the topic of auxin biosynthesis and flower development. As the current Editor-in-Chief of Plant Physiology, Prof. Zhao also talked about how to prepare a manuscript for this journal and encouraged students in the audience to submit their work to Plant Physiology. At the end of the seminar, Prof. Zhao carried out a discussion with students and faculties, gave professional answers to their questions, further introduced some hot spots and questions in the field of auxin biology.
