On January 23, 2026, at 9:30 am, the 108th session of the "Chen Bangjie Lecture" at the School of Life Sciences was successfully held in the round conference room on the third floor of Xingzhi Building. At the invitation of Professor Yang Zhou from the School of Life Sciences at Nanjing Normal University, Dr. Min-Sub Kim from Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea delivered an academic report titled "Introduction of bioinformatics for the aquatic organism ecotoxicology". The lecture was chaired by Professor Yang Zhou from the School of Life Sciences, and teachers and students from the School actively participated.

After the lecture, the participating teachers and students enthusiastically asked questions about the content of Dr. Min-Sub Kim's report. Dr. Min-Sub Kim provided detailed answers to each question based on his own research experience, creating a lively atmosphere of on-site communication. This report systematically outlined the complete analytical pathway from sequencing data processing to mechanism explanation in ecotoxicology research, providing teachers and students with a directly applicable framework of bioinformatics methods and tool selection ideas.
