On November 2, 2019, Professor Jin Jin of Zhejiang University was invited to visit the Institute of animal genetic resources, School of life sciences, Nanjing Normal University. At 10 a.m. in the circular conference room on the third floor of the Chinese Academy of Health Sciences, an academic lecture was held on the topic of "anxiety and expression abnormal psychology or autoimmune diseases".
Professor Jin Jin has long been engaged in the regulation and function of immune response in the brain-intestinal microenvironment. Professor Jin Jin has published more than 30 research papers in world-class journals. After returning to China, Professor Jin Jin published six research papers as the first author or correspondent author in Cell, Nat Immunol, J Clin Invest, J Exp Med, Nat. Journals such as Commun. In this report, Professor Qi Jin used various experimental methods to show us how chronic stress affects mitochondrial morphology of CD4+ T cells and elucidates the specific role of peripheral T cells in anxiety-induced behavior induced by chronic stress.
At the end of the report everyone was enthusiastic to ask questions. Prof. Jin Jin answered the questions of the teachers and students attending the meeting seriously and had a serious discussion with teachers and students on related issues. The meeting ended smoothly with warm applause.
