At the invitation of professor lian bin from school of life science of nanjing normal university, professor gu jidong from school of life science of the university of Hong Kong will make an academic exchange and report in our school.
Gu jidong, PhD in microbial ecology at Virginia Tech in the United States, associate professor of life sciences at the university of Hong Kong. He completed postdoctoral studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell Research Foundation and Harvard University in the United States, and worked at Harvard University in the United States from 1993 to 1998. He began to apply for the faculty of science of the University of Hong Kong in 1999.
Over the years, he has been engaged in the research of environmental science. He has published more than 380 SCI papers in the field of environmental microorganisms and environmental toxicology, with the highest number of citations of more than 540 per article and more than 100 citations of more than 20 papers. The monograph contributes more than 40 chapters. The paper cited more than 12,100 times, with an H index of 58 and an I-10 index of 236 (Google Scholar Citation). Top 1% scientists (Web of Sciences, 2018.06.15) have been maintained since 2013.
In this report, the reasons for editing and rejecting manuscripts will be discussed.
