Profile:
Martin Dokulil: Univ.-Doz. at the University of Vienna, external Univ.-Prof. of Botany (Limnology) at the University of Vienna, deputy Director of the Institute, head of the Department Mondsee of the Institute for Limnology, national representative of the International Association for Limnology (SIL). He is an expert in quantitative ecology of freshwater algae. He has published more than 70 articles in leading international journals (e.g. Limnology and Oceanography), and many monographs on limnology.

Profile:
Prof. Chen Yuwei gained his PhD degree in the University of Vienna. He is the professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.He is now the director of Poyang Lake Laboratory for Wetland Ecosystem. He is also the member of a council of Society of phycology, Chinese Society of Oceanology and Limnologysince 1999, the executive member of the council of Society of Ecology of Jiangxi Province since 2009, the executive member of the council of Society of Ecology of Jiangsu Province since 2010, the executive member of the council of Society of Limnology, Chinese Society of Oceanology and Limnology since 2016. He has led one national“973” plan, two projects of Natural Science Foundation of China. His research focuses on the aquatic ecology, wetland ecology, phytoplankton ecology. He has published more than 150 research papers in leading national and international journals.
