
Research Focus:
Peng LI received a B.S. in Biology from Hunan University of Science and Technology (2003), a M.S. (2006) and Ph.D. (2009) in Zoology and Evolutionary Biology track from Nanjing Normal University. He has a short-term training on animal populations’ research at the University of Hong Kong (2011). He was a visiting scholar (2017-2018) in the lab of Professor John J. Wiens (http://www.wienslab.com/Home.html) in the University of Arizona. He worked as an associate professor for the Jiangsu Key Laboratory for Biodiversity and Biotechnology in Nanjing Normal University. His current research focuses on investigating the molecular evolutionary mechanism of phenotypic development regulation in reptiles, and he is also interested in the investigation of ecological and evolutionary drivers of biodiversity.
