On May 13, Nanjing Normal University Research Base of Think Tank on Natural Resources (TTNR) of Jiangsu Province application demonstration was held in Nanjing. Since its establishment in December 2017, TTNR has been committed to the construction of decision-making consultation platform. Through the construction of think tank base, in combination with the scientific and technological innovation of scientific research institutes, it has gathered important intelligent resources to support the high-quality development of natural resources in Jiangsu province. Up to now, two bases at Nanjing Agricultural University and China University of Mining and Technology have been officially listed for operation. With the deepening of institutional reform, marine resources are also included in the natural resource management system, which puts forward higher requirements for the consultation level of think tank. Recently, College of Marine Sciences and Engineering of Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing University, Research Institute of Nanjing Water Conservancy and Jiangsu Ocean University jointly submitted the application for the think tank research base. At the meeting, the expert group agreed to pass the application for the construction of the research base.
