The School of Music of Nanjing Normal University and Music Research are delighted to invite you to attend The International Conference of Modern and Contemporary Chinese Music History held on December 6-8, 2019 at Nanjing Normal University. This conference will focus on:

1.The Establishment and Development of Modern and Contemporary Chinese Music History Studies
2.The Collection and Research on Modern and Contemporary Chinese Music Historical Materials
3.The Collection and Research on the Musical Culture of the Communist Party of China in the Past Century
4.The Presentation of Overseas Studies on Modern and Contemporary Chinese Music History

The panel invites proposals for presentations. A complete proposal includes a title, an abstract, and a 500-word maximum biography of the proposer (including name and professional affiliation). We do welcome full articles, essays, or dissertations as well. Please submit the required materials via email before Friday, November 1, 2019. Selected speakers will be confirmed and invited by Friday, November 8, 2019. 

We offer full travel assistance for speakers, including the domestic round-trip tickets, accommodation, and meals. (For the overseas speakers, we cover the expenses of hotel accommodation and meals only.)
