On November 15th, 2019, at the invitation of School of Physical Science and Technology, Nanjing Normal University, Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Optoelectronics, Professor Chao Zuo from School of Electronic and Optical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, give a speech about “Computational optical imaging: high speed 3D imaging and computational microscopy ”. The speech was chaired by Prof. Shouping Nie . Teachers and students from related fields participated in this academic conference.
Computational optical imaging technology combines the optical control of the front-end (physical domain) with the information processing of the back-end (digital domain), which provides new means and new ideas for breaking through many restrictive factors in the traditional imaging system. Professor Chao Zuo first introduced the concept and connotation of computational optical imaging technology and its typical research work in improving spatial resolution and time resolution, and then focused on the research work and the latest progress of the research group in fast optical 3D imaging and computational optical micro imaging. After the report, professor Jian Zhou answered the questions raised by the teachers and students in detail.
Professor Chao Zuo : Professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Electronic and Optical Engineering, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. Person in charge of the intelligent computing and Imaging Laboratory (Scilab: www.scilab. Com), School of electrooptics, Nanjing University of science and technology. The research direction is computational optical imaging and optical information processing technology. In recent years, more than 110 papers have been published in SCI source journals, including more than 70 optical JCR area I papers such as Opt. Lett., Opt. Express, etc. 5 papers have been selected into ESI highly cited papers, and google scholar has cited more than 3000 times. The research results were selected as cover articles of Adv. Photo., Opt. Lett. And Opt. Express for seven times, and reported by SPIE newsroom, OSA image of the week for many times. It has won 57 national invention patents and 11 PCT international patents. The research results have formed a series of commercial products, such as scscope, FM-DHM-500, Cytelive, and fast 3D imaging measuring instrument. The national "Outstanding Youth Science Fund", the winner of the "Outstanding Youth Fund" of Jiangsu Province, won the first award of the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of optical engineering, the Wang Daheng optical award and the first "Youth Optical Technology Award" in Jiangsu province. At present, he is the special editor of IEEE access, microwave and optical technology letters Association editor, photonix topical editor, Journal of optics, Journal of laser and optoelectronics, and young editorial board member of infrared and laser engineering
