Invited by Chinese Society of Social Governance, MCA, Professor Zhao Hui, dean of the Public Administration Academy, attended the 2017 50-men-forum of Chinese Social Governance hosted by Southwest University of Finance and Economic and Research Center of Public Policy Innovation of Sichuan Province in June 9-11. Professor Zhao made a speech entitled ‘The independent growth of Chinese society and the response of government reform’, which is warmly discussed and praised by the experts.
It is reported that the first 50-men-forum of Chinese Social Governance was held in Wuhan in June 2015 and has been held for three consecutive terms. The forum widely recruits the officials of governments, professional scholars of universities and research institutes and social governance practitioners, and builds a communication platform between theory and practice. It has promoted the development of the theory system of social governance with Chinese characteristics and practical exploration, and achieved good social impacts and effects.
