Chen Yi is a professor at Nanjing Normal University, a mentor for master’s students, and a target of training outstanding young cadre teachers at Nanjing General University. He is a member of Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Society. He is also a member of Jiangsu Provincial Society of Artificial Intelligence Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Sensing Technology. His current research interests are in machine learning, computer vision, video understanding, intelligent education, and so on. He chaired more than 10 projects on the national fund and youth projects, Jiangsu Youth Fund, etc., published more than 40 papers, and authorized five patents. He has received the Teaching Excellence Award at Nanjing Normal University, and mentored undergraduate and graduate students to receive multiple national and provincial-level awards.
