At 9:30 on September 7th, the lecture “Planning new journey & Setting sail again” was held online for new postgraduate students. It was hosted by Prof Shi Shusheng, the deputy dean of our school.

This lecture took place in two parts. The first part was the introduction to the cultivation program, cultivation process and requirements. The second part was the introduction to the policy of scholarship and grants for postgraduate students.

Prof Shi Shusheng offered five aspects—introduction to the discipline, cultivation purpose, process and requirements, learning ethics and styles. First, Prof Shi Shusheng introduced the development history of the discipline and the school as well as the advantages of every major setting. Second, he introduced cultivation process and curriculum requirements of each major. Finally, he expressed his expectation that all students can develop good learning ethics and styles and conform to academic norms.

Then, Prof Shi Shusheng provided a detailed introduction to the university-level and school-level system of scholarship and grants for postgraduate students. He hoped each student could have the overall and in-depth knowledge of new life and study, getting study and research on track as early as possible.
