The MCLE sports forum | Professor Zhu Weimu's special lecture was successfully held
On the afternoon of April 11, 2024, Professor Zhu Weimo was invited to the "Macle" sports forum of our college and held a wonderful lecture entitled "Let everyone meet sports and meet a better self" in the lecture Hall 101. Li Fanghui, vice president of our college, attended and presided over the lecture, and all graduate students attended the lecture.

At the beginning of the lecture, Professor Zhu introduced the theme of this time with "If there is such a medicine", closely combining sports and medicine. He used vivid metaphors to emphasize the importance of sports in daily life, put forward "aerobic, to move; Strong, to be healthy; Bone can not "thin", to just; Gas can not be less, to young and old can not raise, to resist "these five core points.

Then, Professor Zhu focused on analyzing the development trend and key issues of physical education at home and abroad, and highlighted the important role of aerobic exercise for health with experimental examples. He pointed out that precise and personalized exercise prescriptions are very important to solve heart-related diseases, and the contribution of muscle strength in alleviating chronic diseases and delaying aging has also been widely recognized by the academic community. Based on this, Professor Zhu further discussed strength training, saying: "Strength fitness should be integrated into all aspects of life, and life is full of gyms." At the same time, Professor Zhu also took the stone lock as an example, pointing out in particular that the traditional Chinese martial arts sport has historical charm and hidden power, and clinical practice has proved that it has a miraculous effect on assisting the recovery of cancer patients after surgery.

Then, starting from the latest sports events, Professor Zhu guided the students to think about ways to improve sports performance, and introduced "dynamic" hot spring therapy - a new model of health promotion and non-medical health intervention for chronic diseases. This beneficial attempt of cross-border integration integrates health care concepts and services into sports services. This new model provides new ideas for students, and everyone discusses enthusiastically. Professor Zhu encouraged students to forge ahead and improve themselves, pointing out that as a physical education teacher, it is necessary to help students save up their "old capital" when they are young, establish a sense of scientific exercise, and help develop the habit of lifelong exercise.

At the end of the lecture, the teachers and students present had an active interaction with Professor Zhu, and raised their questions and opinions on some of the views shared in the lecture, and Professor Zhu patiently answered them one by one. Finally, President Li once again extended a warm welcome to Professor Zhu Weimo and made a high summary of the lecture content. The smooth development of this lecture has broadened the academic vision of teachers and students, brought new academic inspiration and thinking ways for students, promoted the scientific research and academic progress of our college, and is also conducive to the future scientific research exchanges and cooperation between the university and the outside.
