On the evening of March 27th, sponsored by the Youth League Committee of Teacher Education College of Nanjing Normal University, the recommended postgraduate seminar hosted by the Teacher Education College Academic Development Center was successfully carried out in Room 205 (Arts field) and Room 208 (Science field) of Xuezheng Building, Xianlin Campus. . Students of the liberal arts field were Wang Ning of Politics (teacher), Yang Qizhen of History (teacher), Zhao Ruojun of Politics (teacher), Li Yuhan of Chinese Language (teacher), and Ni Mengjia of English (teacher). The lecturers at the Science Field were Song Jiayin of Physics (Teacher), Lu Ying of Geography (Teacher), Wei Daina of Chemistry (Teacher), Chen Yihua of Geography (Teacher), Xia Feng of Computer (Teacher), and Shen Siwei of Mathematics (Teacher).

At the beginning of the event, the host briefly introduced the purpose of the seminar and the people present. Then, the seniors gave lectures on the details of recommended postgraduate program, including preparations for the application materials, requirements of the recommended postgraduates and details of the interview. Among them, senior Yang Qi introduced the way of obtaining information about recommended postgraduate program to the students present, and emphasized the importance of mastering the latest information resources. Senior Zhao Ruojun shared her experiences in attending the summer camp and introduced the requirements of applying for summer camps. The students present listened carefully and conscientiously recorded the content they were interested in. Then, senior Li Xiaohan introduced the way of recommending postgraduates, subjects of examination and methods of review. Finally, the students asked questions based on their confusions during the listening process, and the seniors gave their answers enthusiastically.

 

"Within plane tree blossoms lining the roads on Mount Dan, sweeter is the singing of young phoenixes than that of old ones." The contents of this recommended postgraduate seminar were full of useful information, which played a good guiding role for the schoolmates who had the intention of entering recommended postgraduate program. It’s believe that the students at the scene will have a deeper understanding of recommended postgraduate program after listening to the experience of seniors, and they will have a clearer plan for the future!
