At 1:30 P.M. on November 22nd, volunteers from the College of Teacher education gathered at the subway station and went to the stomatology hospital in Jiangsu province to carry out volunteer activities in the hospital.

After a few days of rainy weather, a rare sunny weather approached. The volunteers on time reached the provincial hospital happily. After exercise for half a semester, everyone has already been familiar with the volunteer process, so we did the check-in and got red vest by ourselves. This task was very special. The head nurse arranged for everyone to account for the results of the previous inpatient satisfaction survey.

 

First of all, under the guidance of nurses, the percent questionnaire was classified according to the ward. Soon the classification of the questionnaire was organized in order to facilitate the next calculation because the volunteers have a reasonable division of labor. Then, the nurse explained to us the measurement methods and matters needing attention. The volunteers assigned their own tasks and measured them. Measurement was divided into service attitude, management and skills of the average score, as well as the overall satisfaction rate. In combination with hand calculation and calculator, the steps were clear and methodical, and the task was completed within an hour. After the initial calculation was completed, the volunteers also carried out a detailed examination for check to ensure the accuracy of the results. Finally, we collected the questions and suggestions from the hospitalized patients and summarized them on the general form. Around four o'clock in the afternoon, the volunteers successfully completed the measurement task. The head nurse also praised and thanked everyone for their performance. Everyone placed a good red vest and returned to school together.

 

 Through this volunteer event, the volunteers helped the head nurse relieve the stress of her work and devoted themselves to the work of the hospital. By summarizing the questions and opinions raised by hospitalized patients, it also brings a convenience and warmth to the patients.
