On the evening of March 20, the School of Teacher Education successfully held the "Take wings of Huatu, realize dreams of teacher" public lecture on teacher recruitment in Jiangsu province in 2019 in room 502, Xuezheng Building, Xianlin Campus, Nanjing Normal University.

The lecture opened with three questions: "what do I want to do after graduation", "why I want to be a teacher" and "how to be a teacher", which triggered students' thinking. People actively shared their plans for the future. The lecture was full of a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. Then, Miss Hu made a detailed introduction to the current examination situation.  She pointed out that the examination situation includes the introduction of the province and the analysis of city. She analyzed the basic requirements, standards and procedures of teachers recruitment, as well as the number of applicants of different years, in Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou. Under Miss Hu's explanation, students had a deeper understanding of teacher recruitment. Finally, Miss Hu briefly introduced the relevant public knowledge and subject knowledge of Teacher Preparation Examination. She used real questions from past years’ Nanjing recruitment as an example to point out the problems and mistakes in the recruitment test, which benefited the students present.

 

This public lecture helps normal university students to prepare for the exam more quickly and fully understand their shortcomings, so as to make more comprehensive and detailed preparations. Through the lectures, students have a further understanding and cognition of Teacher Preparation Examination. Students are believed to be able to face the difficulties, actively prepare for the exam, achieve good results in Teacher Preparation Examination.
