On the afternoon of November 7, the volunteers rushed to the Central Road Primary School on time. Although the weather was so cold and the wind was blowing, the enthusiasm of the volunteers did not decrease a little bit.

Today’s volunteer Zeng Yuqi brought two interesting picture books to everyone. The protagonist of the first story was two cute little animals. When the ducks and goslings on the screen appeared, the children were full of interest and sat down with full attention. In addition to their own vivid interpretations, volunteers also invited children to read the story of the picture book from time to time. The children who participated in the reading were reading loudly, because most of the words were recognized and thus they were praised by volunteer teachers. When volunteers asked questions, the children were actively raising their hands, and some even standed up excitedly. Regarding the question of how the egg guarded by the ducklings and the goslings would be hatched, the children answered various rich and interesting answers such as “open with a table corner”, “warming him” and “open with feet”. The children mobilized their own life experiences and imaginations, actively thinking and expressing boldly. Although they were not necessarily giving the correct answer, the process of thinking was more valuable. Finally, the children shared their own experiences in reading stories. Every child’s face was filled with a pure and lovely smile. The second story was about the story of the little mole being affected by human activities. Because the previous story was shared for a long time, the time left in the class was not enough. After the story was finished, the volunteers did not have any further communication with the children. But in today's classroom, the children have already harvested a lot of things.

The small classroom conveyed a simple and profound truth through the vivid and interesting form of the story . Volunteers attracted children's attention through cute cartoon patterns, guided them, inspired children's thinking, and let them grow in happiness. The cold wind and cold rain won't keep the volunteers from going forward.
