On the evening of April 19th, 2019, the Calligraphy competition (including pen,Brush calligraphy,and chalk)of the 4th Graduate Teacher Skills Competition of Nanjing Normal University was successfully held at the 3-4th floor of Xueming Building, Xianlin Campus, Nanjing Normal University. All the graduate students from Nanjing Normal University who are interested in the teacher profession participated in the competition. This competition requires all participants to be within the specified time. The competition work of pen, brush, and chalk calligraphy are collected by the staff after the writing was completed. The three sets of competitions are handed over to the judges for scoring.

Before the start of the competition, the contestants arrive and continue to check in at the venue. The first is the pen calligraphy competition. The game requires 50 words or so, and the writing time is 5 minutes. The font is a script or a line. During the competition, the students were full of passion, writing each Chinese character with heart, and doing their best to show their talents in hard pen calligraphy. Their serious and rigorous attitude has set an example for us. Every outstanding result comes from hard work and unremitting efforts.

Followed by the brush calligraphy competition. During the competition, the students held the brush correctly, sat upright, or stood or stood, showing good writing habits. And the work is completed on site in just 15 minutes. These sixteen words also include the school motto of the Nanjing Normal University, in order to encourage students to be authentic, to treat others, to learn seriously, to seize the opportunity and be brave in practice.

Finally, the chalk calligraphy competition, the contestants draw lots to choose their own writing content, and complete the writing within a limited time. Good chalk writing is the most basic requirement for a teacher. As a teacher of the future, the players are fully focused and show their personal style, which shows the good teachers' skills of the graduate students of Nanjing Normal University.

This three contests have set up a stage for the students to show their style, aiming to expand the skills of teachers in the future, improve the writing ability of teachers, and carry forward the traditional culture . At the same time, it has cultivated the good writing habits of the graduate students, stimulated the interest of students in writing, created a strong writing atmosphere, and enriched the campus cultural life.
